I thought Spider-Man 2 was a lot better than the first movie. There was more character development with Peter, and the villain was a lot less ridiculous. (Norman Osborn had a great actor, but seriously, he was scarier without that stupid mask on. Weird Al hit the nail no the head there.) Doc Ock went from being a slightly silly bowl-cut villain to being a dangerous but sympathetic character. I of course had things to nitpick, as I do every movie, and Spider-Man 2 wasn't brilliant or anything. I just thought it was better. :)
On another note, if you were bitterly disappointed with Transformers 2, Transformers 3 is a lot better. It's still pretty stupid and more about Sam and his Uber Hot Girlfriend than the robots, but still. Leonard Nimoy's in it. That alone is worth the price of the ticket, in my opinion.
