Not exactly a sequel, but I absolutely preferred the 1993 version of Sabrina to the original. Yes, I know that's blasphemy, but it's true. Not only does it feature the ever-brilliant Dana Ivey in a scene-stealing role, it lacks that horrible scene from the original where Sabrina tries to off herself over David Larrabee. I just couldn't get past that being so cavalierly portrayed in a supposed comedy. And Harrison Ford & Dana Ivey had the best scene together: "Mack, have you ever heard me referred to as the world's only living heart donor?" "BWAHAHAHA...erm, no sir."
To be honest, I preferred the entire cast of the newer film. Don't get me wrong, I love Bogie and Audrey Hepburn. But Bogie was better in The African Queen, and Audrewy shimmered more in Breakfast at Tiffany's and Roman Holiday.
