Huffington Post. I has a variety of information.
Unfortunately the revision of Yahoo makes their news useless. I used to go to the Science section and click on Animal and Pets. But now it's mostly stuff that belongs in the entertainment section because anything with the name of an animal pops up. Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats. Straw Dogs. Hot dogs. It's useless. And now the 'groups' is missing from the list on my Yahoo page and there's no way to add it. So MyYahoo is useless too.
At least there are some occasional pet and animal stories on Huffington Post in Green or Comedy or some other section. I also like their food section for some occasional recipes. I can also look at education and technology.
I think, new Harry Potter series will appear soon. There will be stories about certain characters and their prehistories. For example, it'd be interesting to know about Dumbledore more (his juvenility, how he has get this great abilities etc.). There are many interesting characters, so I actually don't think that the series is ove.
I had good day. I have waited this day, Friday. So, I have all weekend to study english and to learn card tricks which I'll be perform on Tuesday's listening class. I'm really a little nervous already now. I'm worrying if I'll do something wrong. But the purpose is that I'll be self-assured on Tuesday, so I need a lot of practice.
I wait the release of Mac OS Lion. I have thought that they would have released it at July 13 but it is still not released. Another rumor claimed that it'll be released at July 17. So, it's Sunday. I'll be wait =)

Have kids and give them all bad names...
Honestly I was rather disappointed with the movie. I had fun waiting in line (as much as one can have, anyway). Wore my Hogwarts robe and vest, and I'm glad I put the pockets in the robe because I was able to smuggle in a soda ;) The Costumers Guild members happened to come at the same time as me and wait in the same line, so I had people to talk to til 11:30 when we got seated. We were in a dinky theater, by the time I bought a ticket they started adding showings because they were selling out, and this was a week before the movie. Our theater had 18 midnight screenings, all sold out. Problem with the dinky theater was reactions were rather weak, and I was unfortunatly sitting between some high-school age girls who wouldn't shut up.

Be happy with Ginny (or do the right thing and elope with Draco Malfoy). I mean damn it, he's suffered an absolutely horrific childhood. If I were him I'd move to the remote countryside, somewhere like The Burrow, to live peacefully and bare children. And maybe give them better names. He'd remain friends with Ron and Hermione and cock block them once in a while just for old times sake. Dumbledore's Army will have frequent meet ups and laugh about terrifying-no-more Voldemort. He'd then become an aura to continue a lifestyle of danger and thrill seeking and then join a national quidditch team and bring home the bacon and everything will be lovely.
Harry's going to be all happy. Ahahaha. Let him have kids to create more magic.
Or.. let him play Quid ditch. That game looks so fun in Hogwarts.
And for the fans, we should be more concerned about them. Including me.
We're going to cry after we watch the movie. That's for sureee.
Definitely Dom Casmurro, - I believe there is a movie of that, I'm not a hundred percent sure to be honest - it has a fantastic story that would give a great adaptation to the screens. It's originally a Brazilian book, I had to read it on college and since then I'm in love with the plot. I think a American remake of the film should be done, just because it is an unique storyline and it deserves to have a worldwide spreading.
После Гарри Поттер станет героем игр, в основном на PS3, Xbox 360 Kinect и Nintedo
Harry now has a family with Ginny. Complete with kids and all that stuff. I say, he'd probably go ahead and live his life with the one(s) he loves.
What I want to see is how their children will grow, find their own love of their lives and battle someone antagonistic again. Ah, if only J.K Rowling wrote an epilogue to the whole series.. I'd die happy.
(It's unfair to see the HP series end. I practically grew up reading and watching it. It'll never be forgotten.)
Go through a major rebellious phase. Lots of Boarders tend to do it when they finally leave School, Harry will be no different. So he'll be out binge drinking, experimenting with drugs, having promiscuous casual sex and getting himself into drink and drug fuelled orgies. He'll get a piercing and a tattoo and maybe have a brush with the law.
Then after a rude awakening he'll do a total 180, and become a totally self-righteous hippie. He'll join Amnesty International, become a Vegan, oppose the fur trade and tie himself to trees to stop new motorways being built.
Eventually, he'll find some stability get a nice 9-5 Monday-Friday Office Job, a house in the suburbs of Surrey, a wife, 2.5 kids and forget that he ever went to a magic school. :P :P
Honestly? I get most of my news watching the Daily Show, lol. I mean, lets be honest... if it's big enough news I should know about it, they WILL make fun of it. If all newscasts and articles came with sarcasm and puns, I'd maybe bother tuning in to the news sometimes.
Lament as Albus Severus Potter, crushed under the unholy pressure of being the child of the Boy Who Freakin' Lived, goes mildly nuts and gets into all sorts of trouble while planning to take over the world and befriending Scorpius Malfoy. Fortunately the last two books are revealed to be a fever dream and *pick your favorite fanfic* turns out to be the real conclusion of the franchise.
vonjunzt and a few people from the Seraph Inn forums.
Almost every time I find myself actually reading news, it's because I followed a link trail starting with one of their posts.
Also, I don't know who this Ron Burgundy fellow is.
Fox news, i go there because It tends to be able to show both sides of the story with the out the biased of the main stream media. Umm I guess that answers the question, please don't be mad I don't mean anything by it.
My favorite mainstream televised news source is CNN (which is a little like saying your favorite beer is Heineken: it's the best mainstream beer available at most places, but beer-snobs will look down their noses at you if you order it).
For comedy news: The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. When the comedy shows start having more substantive interviews than the mainstream channels, it's time to start watching the joke news more closely.
On the radio, I prefer NPR.
For a perspective on the US and the world that you don't get in the United States, I listen to the BBC World Service and the English version of Deutsche Welle. For Middle Eastern news: Mosaic: World News From the Middle East.
I like getting my weather from www.weather.com. I also enjoy listening to NOAA weather alert radio or checking the weather channel periodically. Checking www.weather.com's helpful when the Direct TV signal has gone out, and I can't watch the weather on TV. NOAA weather radio helps, too, because I can check it when the power has gone out and my TV and desktop radio aren't working. If I'm watching TV, I sometimes watch our local Springfield, Illinois channel ABC Newschannel 20 (WICS), and that's about as accurate as you can get when it comes to getting a good weather forecast, as well as other news information, as you can possibly get. Their www.wics.com website is good, too.
Somehow, it's rapidly become Twtter. The place has been fun, so far, and with the fast pace and everything--well, I would have missed the last Space Shuttle launch, if it hadn't been for Twitter! And THAT SAYS IT ALL! It's not going to replace LJ, or anything, but it's a nice supplement.
I don't really have a favorite. I get news from a variety of sources because no media source is without bias and I feel checking out a variety helps counteract that. My sources include NPR, xt3's weekly newsletter (which in turn is a mash-up of links to various Catholic news sites), yahoo and aol news, Henrico Citizen, VSPN/VIN, CVM, and email alerts from my senator and various charities and advocacy groups.
Speaking of news from VSPN/VIN:

Пройти сеанс химиотерапии на Кубе вместе с Уго Чавесом и проверить достоверность предсказаний о конце света в календаре индейцев МАЯ на 2012 год. well, after being the second greatest auror ever (after moody), he knows that he has the ability to become a "minister of magic". He thinks a lot that he was believed as "the chosen one", so he strives and wants to prove it that he is still "the chosen one" for becoming the "best minister" wizarding world ever had. :D
I really don't watch local news except for the traffic and weather. I mute the rest because its all about finding the most shocking and disturbing things humans can do to each other for ratings. There are too many boring commercials of things I wouldn't even consider purchasing. I guess the CBS evening news, the CBS show "60 Minutes", CBS's Sunday morning and NPR are my favorites and I try not to miss them. For me they are the most informative, helpful and real. There is even some good news at times where people can actually smile. The network morning shows are really infomercials selling real celebs and want-a-be celebs. This type of Medea has turned into people standing on the sidewalk watching glorified news anchors. The worst being GMA with that smug older lady who has "that I'm better than you attitude" and a weather man who just happens to like having a bunch of screaming teenage girls around him. What's up with that? The little lawyer guy with the long last name is OK. When I happen to have this on I see there are times when he seems uncomfortable being around that crew....
If something is breaking, it will pop up on my Yahoo news page. Believe it or not, I hear things first often from my Friends Page as well. Then I can go from there.
For great in depth coverage, PJTV from Pajamas Media is great. For example, check out Andrew Klavan's latest video, Michele Bachmann Makes a Gaffe, which humorously points out the fact that the country continues to fall apart due to the Obama administration's actions, but instead of covering that (as well as Obama's endless gaffes!) the liberal media continues to attack her. Things like this are no laughing matter, but at least he makes it bearable.
The best program by far is Trifecta. It doesn't get better than the combination of Stephen Green, Scott Ott and Bill Whittle. Sharp and funny, these guys will make you laugh as well as make you think.
For news on the Islamic jihad being waged all over the world (as well as the continued blackout on this issue by the media), the gold standard is Jihad Watch. Robert Spencer knows his stuff, and there are several other great and informative writers there as well.
Creeping Sharia covers the continued Islamization of the world and the lawfare and other methods being used by those Muslims involved in it.
Big Hollywood covers the entertainment world. (Among a ton of other things.) Andrew Breitbart is taking over the world with the many offshoots, such as Big Journalism, Big Government, Big Peace and who knows what else he's got planned.
Unfortunately all the places listed above preach mainly to the choir, as it were. Even though liberals claim to be tolerant, I have yet to see a liberal willing to actually go to any these places and hear what they have to say about an issue. Yet they expect the rest of us to go to their "news" sources and believe everything that is said there. The reason for that is that the liberal viewpoint is the default of the culture. Most people sincerely believe that what they hear from those sources is accurate.
That is why it is important to keep up with the alphabet networks/cable, and NPR. We need to keep up with the nonstop propaganda war so that we know how to refute the lies in our daily interactions with people. It's nearly impossible, but it must be done.
What liberal propaganda war? And what the heck are jihad and sharia and lawfare?
I rest my point. We've got a lot of work to do.
Never mind who Ron Burgundy is, there something more we need to figure out. I AM NOT COMPLAINING AND TOTALLY UNDERSTAND AND RESPECT OTHER PEOPLES DESIRE TO USE THESE PAGES but I for one what would love to be able to read what I the Russian post. How yes before any one tells me to lean Russian I could do and not be fair to ask them to post in English of course but how about LJ coming up with a translation tab what to click on that work both ways, they could read the English ones. I'm sure most of the Russian one's be more than worth reading. Oh well just a thought.
and was a movie
But within limits. Texas would require very large bribes. As would Northern Alaska, Greenland and Russia.
Then again, I got the best of both worlds. Someone I love and a place I always wanted to live in. Life is awesome that way!
I love The Guardian newspaper, I think it's really the only paper I trust nowadays. Although it's nice being able to read The Metro on a bus when I'm going somewhere and need to pass the time. Yahoo UK has served me well over the years too.
