If you found a wad of cash on the ground, would you keep it? Donate it? Take it to the police?
Perhaps this would make me the sinning saint, but I'd split it up and donate it. Whoever dropped it shouldn't be carrying that much cash on them--that's like asking to be mugged--and clearly didn't care enough to notice. I always liked the whole Robin Hood concept, anyway.
There's a guy who comes into the store who pulls out wads of 100 dollars from his pocket. Granted, he also looks like businessman-by-day-hoodlum-by-night, I seriously think it should be illegal to carry more than a certain amount on you. And speaking of the store. Man, oh-man. Double-whammy. First we had a first 100 customers get a free sandwich, then our today's hits radio station swung by and gave out BOGO coupons for footlongs. Busiest five hours of my week! I applied for a few more jobs openings, and I spoke to our regional manager about transferring to the Subway in Bradenton when I move.
I've been suffering from another way of artistic moods. Glancing at saucydwellings, and eating at the Port City Chop House--I offered to cook for Michael's entire office for a week. .__. Morgan, that is.
Sadly, Summers is gone again. Though we did have so much fun! I forget we have fun. We spend most of our time avoiding each other unless we absolutely can't. Though I have to say, sitting on the carport roof at night was pretty much the best so far.
I just noticed hints of copper under the pendant Caleb gave me. I'm wearing it down. I have thought of him and my friends from high school lately. I spoke briefly to Shaun and Kela--I miss them all. Tina keeps begging me to see her and tiny little Lizzy, but I feel like I will be sucked back into their dramatic life. I just pray that it doesn't leave such a bad impression on Elizabeth. She is my God Daughter. And though I'm not an active part of my life, I expressed--stressed--to Tina that if I needed to take care of her for her, I would. I miss the good ol' days. Before people ran off and got married, or had kids, when we were all together and partied after Friday Night Football. Life goes on and on and on.
Anyway. I promised myself I'd shower after I eat and stay off the computer for the rest of the night so I can get some sleep. Going to put together the new boxing stand and the bag, and clear off the porch of my bed's headboard. Although I managed to get the insanely-large-foot board out of the house and under it solo, the headboard is twice the size and weight and that would be a tragedy to get hurt.
So. To the shower, and to a great night of sleep.
