Writer's Block: It happened one night

The best thing that happened to me so far was an event that took place this past Summer. For my birthday, my parents took me to New York City (I've always wanted to go) so we could see Matthew Morrison's only solo concert that he was doing with VIP meet and greet passes. We stayed for 4 days and saw The Voca People (who were awesome!) and the Lion King on Broadway. My mom, cousin and I also went to the Harry Potter exhibition and saw loads of props from the movies. Matt is my favorite on Glee and has been right from the start. We went to the meet and greet at 4:00 and I have never experienced anything like it and I don't think I will again. We got to hear some of his pre-show soundcheck and he did a short Q & A session with the 20 or so people that were there for it and then we got to have our picture taken with him. He is such an incredible person and even more gorgeous up close. I was too tongue-tied to speak much to him but he was so friendly and super nice and his concert later that night was incredible. He was truely born to be on stage and deserves to have a great career.
What is the best thing that's happened to you so far?

The only thing I really hope is that I won't be a human being. Seriously, I don't consider humans as the best life forms at all. Yeah, maybe evolution helped us, we can cure ourselves, we have food and homes (at least in some parts of the World -.-), we can even explore the outer space...yay...and yet we are the most unhappy specie on the planet.

Human beings are the only ones that made such an evolution for themselves that at some points forgot even self preservation. We are the only specie that has arrived to a point we kill ourselves because we can't have things we don't really need. People kill themselves and others for money or fame or just depression caused by this frenetic world.

So, thank you, I don't really care what I'll be but I'm done with being a human. I'm done with worring about money (or the dramatic lack of it), I'm done with worring about social interactions that don't really matter, I'm done with the terrifieng need of the human kind of playing gods and try and control life and death and sickness.

I'd like to maybe be a cat. A lazy and fat one. To sleep all day in the sun, hunt if I'm bored, be cuddled if I'm in the mood or just bite the human hand if I want to be left alone. I want to not be afraid of death or of what I'll do tomorrow, and to be happy to just have some food, a warm place in the winter and a few kittens of my own. Damn, I'd be really glad to have a tail! I'd love a tail!

Next life I'll try and let you know if I succeeded and I'm a cat... you're warned, I'll scratch ;) (and I'll be the most annoying cat EVER :P :P)

- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RyhgCS7xbc

Reptiles. I just have a phobia when it comes to them, especially snakes.

May I add spiders of all kinds. Another phobia. And cats. Because they have a fuck you attitude. Dogs are happy to see you.

You know...this would create some f*ck up in the time/space continuum and...

Oh nevermind.

Auto-Tune. I would probably go and straight up blow up Antares Audio Technologies like Sarah Connor in Terminator.

I f*cking HATE it since it makes people who can't actually sing into superstars for some reason and then people are all surprised when their live concerts are crappy. In moderation it's ok, but when it's the basis of your sound, that's a gigantic no in my book. It also robs people of their natural pitch, takes the edge, grittiness and sexiness out of a lot of what could potentially be great voices and really just makes me want to shoot someone. I don't know what ticks me off more, when superstars who I know have great pipes suddenly overuse it in a sh*tty song that inexplicably becomes a monster hit, or when a group or artist comes out of nowhere and relies way too heavily on it for their sound. It might just be a toss up.

In short, overuse of Auto-Tune on any album is for talentless P*ssies.

hmmm, I suppose another human, because being a human is what I and many others born human are good at. I have a very good feeling that some of us are old souls that have yearned to come back and taste life once again. My best proof of this is that I have remembered certain places, things, people, and sometimes scents from memories that I have never experienced in this lifetime. I also have a friend that has experienced the same phenomena. I do not joke of this, since this is something never to take lightly.

quite as majorly. They were creeping out again along with other supernatural creatures, i.e. werewolves (can anyone say Blood and Chocolate? Never read the book, but I've heard good things. About the book only). If those stupid movies didn't come out we wouldn't be bombarded with (as many) wannabe novels, shows, and movies.

Although I have to admit I have seen every Twilight movie.
It's a vice of mine. I'll admit to that.
But just cause I see 'em it doesn't mean I like them. It just means I have the right to make fun of it as I please.

I would love to say the entire Twilight franchise, books and movies alike, but that's what sparked some... interesting... movies and books. Interesting in good ways (i.e., the Vampire Diaries t.v show. Except
there was a lot of Bella-ism let-me-be-a-goddamn-martyr going on in season 2 I wasn't fond of in the least and thus made me begin to lose interest... and I don't know if True Blood came before Twilight, but that's a good show too) and bad (oh, if I could count the ways). And it's what made me a fan of vampires. Not sparkly fags, but the real things, since it sort of became my gateway to the supernatural world lol. So I guess I can't quite say Twilight...

No, I take that back, I wish away the movies.
Everything was fine and dandy with Twilight before those goddamn pieces of shit they dare call a 'movie' came into existence (they could've at least cast Emily Browning as Bella. She can actually act). It wasn't huge, vampires didn't come out of the coffin (wow, did I seriously just use a phrase from True Blood? Well that show is alright, except for Bill, aka Edward Cullen Senior) quite as majorly.

And, frankly, the themes in Twilight are heinous and are borderline misogynistic(yet ironically written by a woman). The fact that Bella MUST have a boyfriend? The fact that she MUST keep this mutant baby of hers (despite the fact it was killing her, not that that was a bad thing...)? That she MUST wait until marriage to do the deed?
I won't even touch on her ridiculously unhealthy relationship and how Edward was overly controlling and could be easily labelled as an abusive boyfriend (I dare you to argue this).
There is so much wrong with 'beautiful swan' ('Bella Swan'. Has anyone else noticed that?) I won't even get started. It's one of the many things corrupting our youth (and I'm 19... The fact I'm saying that feels kind of weird). All young women must:
- Have a boyfriend
- Not go to university/get educated
- Marry into wealth
- Bear children.
That's what Twilight boils down to.

Although I have to admit I have seen every Twilight movie.
It's a vice of mine. I'll admit to that.
But just cause I see 'em it doesn't mean I like them. It just means I have the right to make fun of it as I please.

fortunately, after 800(ish?) lifetimes, i do indeed hope to end this reincarnational thing. it gets boring. really. fucking. boring. I know it sounds great, but when you reincarnate as a flower, or fly, your life is really short. if you have bad dharma you become a red wood, or other such millenia lasting things. and those out there? you know what i mean.

In the next life, who or what do you think you’ll be reincarnated into?
I think I would probably be born into a different country. I would imagine that my "consciousness" would transfer immediately upon my death, so it'd be in the relatively near future. I don't think I would be in better circumstances than what I am in now, and that has nothing to do with karma or my life choices. I am very blessed in my life right now, so I guess I have to look forward to the other end of the seesaw.

I'm sure I can make that life blessed, too.

If had a choice it would be a cat, my cat is so pampered and does nothing but eat, sleep, poop, sleep, groomed, sleep, what a wonderful life.

However I suspect I'll come back as a human again, just so I can go through puberty - wasn't once enough for me?!?! Photobucket

Well I could say crooked politicians...but that would really take a bite out of the population...

One person's pet peeve can be another's joy so I don't think I would elminate anything. You just have to have the good sense to avoid the things that annoy you or get over them.

Oh and as an aside if someone or some thing really does annoy you and you don't want them or 'it' in your life? Then what are you doing reading their posts on various blog sites?  And what are you doing responding to any of those posts publicly when you know they can't see YOUR response...that's kind of a game isn't it?

Grow up.

Hate. It is a useless emotion, it is painful to those exposed to it and those around the person filled with it. I would remove it from the whole planet if I could, no doubt about that. The why is simple and I have already explained why I would do it. It is useless and painful. Harmful to those that live under the hand of it.

Unflattering underpants. It's something I hate wearing in the first place, but who ever came up with designs like "grannie panties" (and I hate that word panties also), need to kicked to the curb.

Why? 'Cause they're freaky creepy crawly gross. Eww. *shudders*

If I could delete one thing from ever existing in my life, it would be people lying all the time, especially about their feelings towards someone who has a disability or is different in another way from them.  This would be a good thing to change because you have to be friendly towards others in order to have friends.  I know one person who doesn't really have friends because she doesn't really respect others, so that's why she doesn't really have friends.

I'd WANT to be reincarnated as a dancer. A male dancer, preferably. Not necessarily gay, but I wouldn't mind. Either way. I've always wanted to be a dancer.

I'll PROBABLY be reincarnated as a male pedifile. Or a schizo or something like that. Something where I'll get locked away. I feel like I should be locked up now, but I have really good manipulation skills, so I'm not. Haha.
