P.S.
Silly ask gets silly answer.

Writer's Block: A sight for sore eyes | The King and I and Dawn

What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?

That's really hard to answer, so I'll just give a few examples:

• The surreal beauty of a frosty morning sailing in the Tracy Arm in Alaska. The mist and sunlight played off of each other, giving the icebergs, trees, and ocean an eerily calm look.

• The sun-drenched beauty of Italy's Amalfi Coast. From the incredibly deep colors of the ocean to the picturesque architecture of the towns, the landscape is spectacular. We drove and sailed down the coast. I sat on a stretch of warm, sandy beach and hunted for sea glass.

• The brave smile of my grandfather as he went through his treatments. He was in a lot of pain, but he bore it with his usual stoicism and hope.

Full day today so I wanted to make sure I had time to write today's NaBloPoMo entry. I'm doing an early holiday get-together with my mom and one of our mutual friends. We're going to see a musical stage performance of The King and I, then we'll have dinner before heading to the movie theater to watch Part One of Breaking Dawn. Hee, I'm the one who recced the Twilight series to our friend, so it is only fitting that we see all the films together.
thats funny!!

Writer's Block: It's payday!

What would you do if you had a million dollars?

Buy a house. Buy a car. Buy a car. Buy a house.
(^_____________________________________^)

You guys remember the house that was used during the korean tv series Full House? --YEAH. I WANT THAT.

I can always dream BIG! After all, I have a MILLION DOLLARS! (*wishful thinking*)

And for a car, honestly, ever since I was in grade school, I have always had this fascination for Pick Ups or 4x4 PICK UPs.

I have always dreamed of driving and owning one someday. Wanted to have one. Badly.
Its my dream car.
Shocking maybe, as it may sound but I have not been gaga over Ferraris and Jaguars, and Lamborghinis, and whatnot, name it.
At a very young age, way back in grade school, this has only been the car that fascinated me, impressed me, and made me wanted it so badly I'm going to cry a river if I can't own one someday. Oh please! Allah, let me own one of these cars someday.. :)

Ah. This post makes me cry.
I have been so stressed recently, and realizing this things again, makes me happy and driven and cheered up. HONTOU NI. :)

seeing a patch of clouds over a reflected area of the gulf of mexico by the morning sun while ferrying a plane from Baytown to Port Arthur

the reflection was broken by the shadows from the clouds, yet the clouds were nice and white too. It was spectacular.

Writer's Block: An intimate portrait

My provisional title for my own autobiographical book is All the Wasted Chances*, but I don't mean it as a pity party. If I ever really write the book, it will be about my struggles and defeats, and yes, about my mistakes and their consequences, but also about how the struggle still goes on, even now that I didn't get the probably once-in-a-lifetime professional chance that I wanted so badly. About the irony of being so good at things that bring no money, but give my life some meaning and keep me from being All The Wasted Chances at least outside my professional sphere. About the wonderful world of online friendships, online volunteering and online activism, and the new-found warrior spirit I had never even suspected I had in me.

Now only to learn how to be a writer. LOL

*"You know what the greatest tragedy is in the whole world?" said Ginger, not paying him the least attention. "It's all the people who never find out what it is they really want to do or what it is they're really good at. It's all the sons who become blacksmiths because their fathers were blacksmiths. It's all the people who could be really fantastic flute players who grow old and die without ever seeing a musical instrument, so they become bad ploughmen instead. It's all the people with talents who never even find out. Maybe they are never even born in a time when it's even possible to find out."

"He stared at the posters again. You just get one chance, she said. You live for maybe seventy years, and if you're lucky you get one chance. Think of all the natural skiers who are born in deserts. Think of all the genius blacksmiths who were born hundreds of years before anyone invented the horse. All the skills that are never used. All the wasted chances."

I have yet to do anything that warrants a biography in my life, up until now, I have not done anything worth noting, but I hope for a time that I do become someone better than I am.

also if its a book about me, I'd insist it be wrote by me, and be called "Trials of Fire: My Legacy." That would give others a view of how I see my life, as a war, a battlefield.

If someone were to write a book about me the title of said book would be "Weird But Normal". The description is not one I picked for myself but once I heard it said of me, I put it in my memory bank as a true portrait of me. I'm weird as all creative people are supposed to be. Now normal is what I appear to be on the outside. I dress in a fashion that doesn't make me stand out nor identify me as a person that is always wondering about the inner workings of his own mind. Weird is my mind and normal is my fashion sense.

This is a tricky one. Something from the Hubble telescope, I suppose. Maybe something like this.

I'd love to visit. If I had to pick one place for vacation and could only visit one landmark, I'd go there.

Hmm. I will have to think on this a while. I suppose if I were really "a good mom" I would say my child the first time I saw him, but that was really more of a stressful moment and not a vet sight-driven one. Anyway it occurs to me that that would be unfair to any mom with more than one kid and she would have to pick one. :P

...no I can't pick one. Although atop my list tend to be various moments of particular conjunctions of solar, lunar and stellar happiness framed by the landscape and atmosphere in fetching ways. You know - eclipses, sunsets, twilights and evening stars with little crescent moons, shiny glowy sunrises illuminating a faint haze of clouds. I couldn't really say which ever was my FAVORITE but some stand out more than others.

Princess  Sabrina Fhaye : The Rocky Road Journey !!

My life at an early age was as perfect as you ever imagine. There was love covering the four sides of my room. Everything's so right. For once I had lived like a princess who knows how to love and be loved. I got luxury and wealth. I got most everything that I wanted. I felt so blessed and it felt like everything was going into my way. There was once my loving and caring family who accepts everything about you. Not a piece of imperfection can change the way they love you. I felt a bit of heaven here on earth.

But suddenly, there was a great force of gravity who's pulling us down. Where you'll find nothing but loneliness , grieve , anger - all bad emotions you can think of. There was chaos in the family. I was turned down and got really shocked about what was happening. Got financial troubles , i got lost in my studies , lost friends who once I thought real ones and found the truth that our family was getting broken. Darkness covered my room filled with emptiness and doom. I thought of not living anymore , planned for committing suicide out of my own.

Then suddenly, I hear a voice saying " Yang , you don't need to do that for God have plans. It just that, you don't get a hold of everything that's happening here on earth for all these things we have right now, are just borrowed ones. Only Him is has the right to take away everything everything he wanted even our lives. We owe everything to Him. Just remember this " God's timing does not always coincide in our plans, all we have to do is just wait and hope".
Then , i regained my strength to stand up once again and to live  life to the fullest!!!

Вообще, всё зависит от настроения и качества фильма (иногда так снимут, поучительно-душевное и вовсе не такое, а весёлое сплошная пошлость!). Но, в большинстве случаев, я выбираю что-нибудь душевненькое и доброе.

Baron running. I would show you a picture of him, but to be honest when I try I get a really good shot of really blurry haunches, so here's so pics of other whippets running that are not mine.

Double Suspension:

And, here's one of Baron after a run; because he's my handsome boy.
